Hellboy Print Now Available!!!

Hello all!  In between projects I did a Hellboy piece as my warm up sketch....I ended up digging it, so I decided to ink it and color it up and make a print out of it!!  Click on the link to see a larger version of the piece, and if you like it stop on over to my website at the Print Page and order a print!!   A Batman Dark Knight piece is currently in the works now!  

And to keep everyone in the loop, Kleos Studios is in the final stages of becoming an LLC (Limited Liability Company)!!  We are currently building our website and business cards, as well as working on the numerous projects we have on the board!  Busy times, but as always good times!  I leave you with our saying from Kleos Studios....

What Up Everybody??

Hey there neighbors! How's everything going?  As usual we have a list of fun projects we are currently working on!  Don't have much time at the moment, but I can tell you all that there are some more big updates coming (Like last month's list wasn't long enough haha) So stay tuned, it shall be revealed in the coming days!!!  

Big Updates

Got some big updates and news for everybody out there!!  Added a bunch of new content for the website, every page has new content or changes to them, so head on over and scope out some of those changes!!  Got some big announcements also, so here we go!  

• Just finished the Character Designs and Illustrations for the children's book "The Great Road Adventure" For Sonny Barger Productions (SBP) which is going to be published through Harper Collins, so I shall post the designs and some of the illustrations within a few weeks.  
• Still plugging away at the Depleting Shadow Films short film "Assassin" , will be picking that back up within the week to make further progress.  You can actually get a sneak preview at some of the teaser storyboards on my website also, thank you to Depleting Shadow Films for giving me permission to post those boards, more will follow in due time as we keep making progress!!
  
• Forming a Limited Liability Company ( LLC) with a good friend of mine, and we are naming it Kleos Studios.  We are pooling our efforts and resources so we can take on more bigger projects (Some are already creeping up on us) and then hire people on to assist the studio on a project by project basis.  We have also announced our first joint project called "Hopeless Confessions", which is a comic / graphic novel,  and you can also see the Conceptual Art and Sequential Art at the website!  There are also numerous projects on the Board right now, so stay tuned for further developments (There are many lol).  Needless to say we will be busy all year around in between big projects.  
• If you haven't bought a sketchbook yet, SHAME ON YOU!!!  Haha well you have a chance to redeem yourself, I do still have a handful of copies left and they can be yours!!!  The Super Awesome Premium Director's Cut Edition with your own personalized sketch in the back of your choosing  $15, and the standard edition is $10.  Also updated the Prints / Commission page so that you can easily afford prints of your choosing!!

My Wedding

Well hello everybody!  I'm officially back from my Wedding and Honeymoon, and it was great!!  I did the above piece for the wedding ( I was commissioned  by my wife lol ) and it turned out great!!   Click on the thumbnail to see a larger hi-res version.  We put it in a spiffy frame and had it next to the entrance right next to the guestbook.  We had a beautiful wedding, and the honeymoon was relaxing and good!  It was great to see family, have us all together, and although it was a small wedding it was a blast!!  Thank you all for your love and support!!  It was good to have some time off, but now it's time to get back to work!!  Stay tuned for further developments... We got some good stuff coming!!  Back to the grinder!!!

Updates Sure Are...Sexy??

Howdy Tipped Tank Fans!!  What a busy month for us here is the studio let me tell yah!!!  Here is a quick update!  Still hard at work on getting the Kids Book finished to be published, so stay tuned for the work that I post in the coming weeks!  Still got loads of projects on the Board right now, so there is never a dull moment.  Still in talks with all of the big industry reps, will probably have more info by the end of next month....A big project is almost ready to be posted and released to the world...soon my friends, soooooon....Anywho, my wedding is also coming up soon so that is also super exciting!!  Busy times ahead, but as alwas we thrive on it!!!  Also check out DSF's new spiffy website and blog!!   Give them some love and stop on by!!!  Until next time!!!

Kid's Book

What up everybody??  Did some more Character Designs for Sonny Barger Productions (SBP) for their up and coming kids book, and just putting the finishing touches on the last designs... Did over 16 total character designs, and after inks and colors I signed a contract and will be doing all of the inside illustrations for the finished Kids book to be published by Harper Collins!!!   Still hard at work at building up an investment package for our other projects we got going down, and we currently have a meeting with Marvel Comics, Disney-Pixar, and WB animation, as well as many others (The total list is VERY long lol) to see some of the work we have been up to in the past months!!!   We will be meeting up with them in California in the middle of next month, so keep your fingers crossed!!  Exciting and busy times ahead!!!

Newer Projects on the Horizon

Howdy all!  Been really busy here at Tipped Tank Studios (when are we not lol) with loads of new and exciting projects!!  Always juggling 3-4 projects at the same time, but staying organized and efficient is critical!  You should see my calendar, it's planned out months in advance with daily/weekly/monthly post it notes with deadlines and appointments.  At any rate here are some the projects that are in the works, some I can talk about, others have to be a little more vague.

-  Just finished Character Designs for Sonny Barger Productions SBP, for a children's book that is being published by Harper Collins.  Possibly doing more illustrations for inside the book also!!  I shall post the work after the book is published, so stay tuned!!!

-  Been working on a "Secret Project" for a couple of months here and there...and in-between bigger projects have put some time aside for this one!!  I can tell you this much, I spent a month or so designing 4 main characters and it is going to be a graphic novel / comic series...We are currently talking with multiple publishers and will hopefully be able to speak more about this in the coming months!!

-  Still working on the Final Storyboards for Depleting Shadow Films short independent film "Assassin", which a majority of you have been keeping up with the behind the scenes special "Searching For Assassin"... Have a majority of the boards done, just waiting on the final shot sheets for the fight scenes, and then we will be completely done!!

-  Have a few projects that we are working on behind the scenes, and in the coming months after the immediate projects are done they will see more of the light of day!!  

That is just the tip of the Iceburg, and I can't really divulge all of the information on all of these projects quite yet, there are far more than the ones listed...But soon all shall be revealed...Until then stay tuned!!!!      

Metal Gear Solid 4 Releases Today!!!

I've been a fan of these games for a long, long time, and I'm very excited about this game coming out!!   Snake is effin' awesome, and the story and cinematics paint a beautiful picture!!  I even stayed up late the past couple of nights to get extra work done so that I would have time after work today to play allll night haha!!!  In about an hour I will head into work, pick it up, and then later in the evening come home after work to play it!!  Fun times all around!!!   See you all in a few days!!!

Echelon Storyboards

Hey there!  It's been a long time since there has been any updates, so I figured I'd drop a line to all you folks out there!!!  Been really busy with tons of projects as of late and some vacation time, but here are some spiffy updates!!!  Went to the Depleting Shadow Films Summer 08 mixer t Six Lounge in Scottsdale AZ, where I had some of my work from the Short Independent Film "Assassin" showcased in the VIP room!  They had a private showing of the short films "Half Life", "Echelon", and a Teaser Trailer for "Assassin" for all that attended.  I'll include a link to the pictures at the end!  I posted the final Storyboards for the DSF film "Echelon" on my website, link shall also be posted at the bottom.  And still working on the "Mystery Project", of which I still cannot mention very much of as of yet... I am Iron Man!!!

Crisis Core is Awesome!!!!

So I picked up Crisis Core for the PSP and me, being a huge Final Fantasy Nerd, loved all of the games especially 7.  So a prequel to that game is like a gift from above!  The Cinematics are breathtaking, hell even the in-game graphics are pretty sick!!!  The gameplay is quick and easy to pickup and play and get used to, and the characters are bad-ass!  The heavy metal music for the battles is pretty groovy also!!  I'm going to be playing this every night before bed, fo' sho!

New Developments

Life certainly is intriguing sometimes... We have choices that are presented to us, sometimes by chance, sometimes by choice and others by surprise.....  Do we have a pre-determined path or line that we follow in life?  Or are our choices our own as we walk that path?  Is there a greater Destiny for us all, and does it happen for a reason?  What happens if we stray from that path by the choices we make?  Will we still end up in the same place at the end?  

I have some interesting things going on in life right now, and I don't know where they could lead.....I believe our path is the one we forge on our own...We decide in our fate or destiny or what have you.... But only time will tell if it is the right path....  I'm kind of scared, but excited at the same time...We shall see what develops.....

What's Up?

Howdy All!  How's everything going?  Been keeping busy here at Tipped Tank Studios, never a dull moment!  Still working on The Assassin Storyboards, and they are looking fantastic!  Perhaps sometime in the near future you will get a sneak peak at them (Depleting Shadow Films permitting of course haha).  Still working on side projects also ( You know me I love to multi-task) that are as of yet unannounced.  Still putting together a sketchbook for you all so that you can purchase my work from the past few years!  I will have the sketchbook available for $10 and if you want your on personalized sketch in the back $15.  Leave a comment if you want one so I know how many to make!  Exciting times ahead, stay tuned!!!

Extended Echelon Trailer

Howdy All!  Sorry for the lack of updates as of late, been busy working on the Assassin storyboards, and various little side projects also.  With Echelon on the cusp of completion, I figured I would share the extended trailer so you can see just a little bit more of the finished product!  We are all excited to see the finished product but we will have to wait just a little bit longer... Assassin Lineup Update

Well here she is! You guys are in for a special treat today, for I put together the pencils, inks, and final colors for the new

character simply called "The Mistress" for the upcoming independent film "Assassin". So you can kind of see how the magic

happens, as far as from start to finish! Also check out the final Mistress piece on the Concept Art page on my main website

to see how she truly turned out! Storyboards for this film will probably carry on into the next 2 - 3 months, but stay tuned

for updates, such as warm up sketches, random doodles, and pieces I do in between Exciting times ahead!!

Updates and Bug Fixes

Added some new pieces to the website on the gallery page (familiar pieces that just had to be moved) and also fixed a couple of bugs in some of the gallery links on the actual thumbnails themselves.  Should all be up and running now!    Check them out!

My Triumphant Return...Or Something... Like That!!

***Edit***  Added some older pieces (some of you may recognize them), to my gallery on the main website.  They were originally part of this blog, and they were lost when I switched blogs, so I'm slowly updating and putting those pieces onto my main site!  check them out on the gallery page if you haven't seen them!!!

Well I have returned from California, and it was a crazy week!  I got to meet some pretty cool people, and got some more work done!  Got a bunch of new stuff going on, and am days away from starting the Assassin storyboards.  Stay tuned because there is going to be a boatload of updates and new announcements to come in the coming weeks!  

Fun Stuffs!!!

Well Here's an update for everybody!  I got some new projects on the horizon already, but alas I cannot speak of some of them yet ( and I'm chomping at the bit here to tell everybody ) but I must remain silent for now, but soon there will be more exciting updates on a mysterious new project!!! ( Cue the mysterious music ) 

I will be heading of town this monday for business reasons, heading to LA in good old California and will be gone pretty much all week.  So unless the hotel has free internet, I will be out of commission for a few days...When I get back I should have loads of updates...exciting stuff no doubt!

Lastly I finally got a new cel-phone today....A sanyo Katana II, and it rocks socks....so yeah that's all for the awesome updates...To Cali we roll!!!!

New Projects!!!

As some of you may or may not know, we picked up a new Depleting Shadow Films project, we will be storyboarding, character design, and possibly Sequential Art for their new independent short film called "Assassin".  Most of you know this already, but for those newcomers, you can see updates in the Concept Art Page, and there are quite a bit.  Myndsparc is still in progress in between projects, but you will see some more concept art shortly.  We have a teaser trailer for the short film Echelon,  I'll attach a link at the end, so check that out!  Unveiled our own project called Dark Calm Trilogy,  you can check out the art of the Concept Art page of the website.  So keep coming  back for more updates as they develop!  Busy times all around, stay tuned!!

New Banners for the new projects!!!

Summary of Last Year

It has been a very busy year, so just to bring everyone back up to speed here is a summary of this last years accomplishments!!!!  Was brought aboard and sub-contracted by Depleting Shadow Films to do Conceptual Art,Storyboard Art and Sequential Art for their newest independent short film "Echelon".  With that project under wraps we are awaiting the final stages of post-prodution to be able to show more of the fruits of our labor, but wait we picked up quite a bit more projects!  But stay tuned for the official unveiling of the Echelon storyboards!!  Next we did the Cover Art and some inside Illustrations for a novel called "I'll Bet You Taste Like fine Wine" ,  so that was fun and exciting!  Then we picked up some Concept Art and a Graphic Novel project called "Myndsparc: Navajo Dreams" by the company Infinite Spectrum Productions.  We are still in the process of Character Design and then will move onto the Graphic Novel portion of the project, with a rough deadline of summer 08'.  Then we got hired for another short independent film called Raglin' Tales from the company Ronald's Brothers Productions, which is still in post-production work, however the storyboards can be viewed on the main website!!  So that pretty much brings us up to the present, with a few more announcements on the way....But you are going to have to wait a little bit longer....Here's to the end of a great year, and the beginning of a better one!!  Here's some banner art!!!

First Official Post

Welcome all!  This is the first official post of the Tipped Tank Studios Blog!  I'd like to take a moment and thank you all for coming on over from my website!  This is a place where I will update as often as I can with new pictures, projects, rants and raves, and the inner workings of Tipped Tank Studio....Feel free to comment/critique and talk about any post!!
